The SEO-TX100 delivers high-resolution real time digital video content across IP-based networks, providing the highest quality content at any given bandwidth, at full D1 resolution (525/30 or 625/50 lines/Fps) within a single T1 link. It captures, encodes and compression audio and video from any analog source (NTSC or PAL, composite or S-Video ).Encoder data rates range from 50Kbps for limited – bandwidth applications (such as BGAN) up to 2.2 Mbps where bandwidth is less constrained. Resolution from QCIF to D1 and frame rates from 1 to 30 Fps are supported. The audio/Video stream may be transmitted to a variety of XVD decoders, or to XVD’s SD- SS 1000 Enterprise Streaming Server (where one or more encoded streams can be re-transmitted to multiple decoders or software players). For point- to-point connections , streams can either be “pushed” by the SD-TX100 to an SD-RX100 decoder using Directed Mode, or the connection can be initiated by the SD-RX100 using Stream Server Mode.
Encoded data streams can be transmitted efficiently using TCP/IP or RTP/IP, and both RTP Unicast and Multicast are supported. XVD’s ProXVD(tm) Network Analysis and Forward Error Connection (FEC) may be used to “tune” connection settings for available bandwidth and prevailing network conditions using RTP streaming protocol.
The SD-TX100 can resume transmission automatically if a connection is lost and restored, making it especially useful when embedded or remotely located. Configuration and control is via an easy –to-use, password-protected Web-based GUI. Using popular internet browsers, an approved user can log on and change settings with ease. |
