Keeping pace in the era of portability, rtronix has designed a suitcase based IP Flyaway Terminal in KU Band. The entire Base band Video Compression, including the KU band BUC, has been built in a carry –on suitcase of 500mm x 400mm x120mm ,weighing<15kgs.

It is integrated with portable satellite antenna system DSNG series of AVL technologies and combines excellent RF engineering and product experience with audio, video streaming over IP. IT is designed for worldwide transmit and receive operation, provide exceptionally low side lobe and cross polarization performance well within INELSAT and EUTELSAT requirements.

This system is not originally designed to survive the tough and competitive environment of satellite news gathering but also its highly innovative packing with robust light weight has made it a preffered. Flyaway system for all varities of applications. Fully automatic satellite locator with GPS and digital compass is a built –in feature of this system.

All electronics of this system I,e Encoder, Modem, RF units and their power supply are placed in a single box. Encoder, Modem and RF equipments are monitored and controlled through the laptop which is part of the system. The complete system is housed in only two rugged-duties easily manageable flight cases and can be deployed by any person without any additional tools in only 10 Min.
