Mobile DSNG Solutions are available from Rtronix in a variety of options. From a simple Satellite
Transmission van in C or KU bands, to the more complex combinations of COFDM and Satellite solutions
to full featured OB vans, Rtronix has all the solutions in its stable. The solutions could also be
custom engineered to meet your specific requirements of event contributions.
Rtronix has designed a DVB compliant Fly away terminal on an auto-track 1.0M Carbon Fiber Antenna as
an enhancement for your News gathering applications. The system is on a 3 Box Solution, with the electronics
being managed through a simple on board Computer.
Rtronix has engineered live event coverage through IP Encoders to provide a viable alternative to your
event contributions. The solutions, using the viable infrastructure of TELCOs, can be engineered from live uplink
to deferred live or store and forward solutions with considerable video resolutions. The solutions could also be
engineered with addition of Non linear editing facilities for the Journalists at the remote events sites to
transport an edited footage over the network.
Rtronix also provides you with low cost and efficient Pre edited Event Transmission solutions on standard
Leased Lines or IP Networks. By editing the contents prior to transmission, the customer can reduce the operating
cost by employing low bandwidth networks, as the volume of contents get drastically reduced.
COFDM Solutions : The DVB-T/COFDM transmitter system makes the “go anywhere” news gathering concept an
immediate reality. Weighing just 5 kgs (11 lbs), including its built-in HD-SD encoder and COFDM
transmitter/antenna. This system enables a one-person “crew” to venture up to 5 kilometers (3 miles) from
a DENG truck or other associated COFDM receiver, and transmit live HD or SD breaking news.Used with any
high-definition or standard-definition television camera, COFDM can stream encoded, real-time 1080i, 720p,
480i (NTSC) or 576i (PAL) content, and can also record up to 1.5 hours of HD or 8 hours of SD and playback
as needed to the receiver site |
