Baseband Transceiver is a complete solution in itself for modern Digital Electronic News Gathering (DENG) with all the indoor equipments like encoder, modem, router,
IP Receiver, spectrum analyzer, combiners and splitters within a single rack mountable box of height
1RU (1.75 inches) only. The mostly used DENG solution is Digital Satellite News Gathering (DENG) and
Flyaway solution. It can be installed within a standard SUV just on removal of only one seat, without
the necessity of any further physical changes made to vehicle. It can mean anything from a lone reporter
taking a single camcorder out to get a story to an entire television crew taking a satellite vehicle on
location to do a live report for a newscast.
The Transceiver can also be associated with 1.2 m DSNG Antenna System, which accommodates electronics
in truck or mounted on the feed boom. Along with this, another system Radio Box RKR025 which consists of
outdoor units like 25W/40W Block Up Converter (BUC) can be used for the entire operation
as DSNG system.
